About Me
I am an Oklahoma-native, taught elementary school in Long Beach, CA upon graduating from college, became a stay-at-home mom during my two children's school years, got my Realtor license in 1976 but remember I was a 'mom' during that period of my life so I didn't actively work until 1989. I joined the newly-formed 714 Realty in Newport Beach and made my first sale......which happened to be a $1,000,000 sale!
I became a CA Residential Broker in 1990, opened Chelsea Realty that year and talked three of my friends into getting their Agents license of which they each placed with Chelsea Realty. Chelsea Realty was very active in the Orange County, CA area until April, 1997, at which time I moved to Smith River, CA to join my husband in working on the development of Spyglass Subdivision and to handle the marketing of the Subdivision. Spyglass has become a very upscale, gated community overlooking the Pacific Ocean from Crescent City, CA to Brookings, OR.
I was active on the Grievance Committee of the Newport-Mesa Association of Realtors Board in the 90's and have enjoyed being active on the Del Norte Association of Realtors Board in recent years. My Board experience includes: Vice President, 2005 and 2006; President, 2007, 2008 and 2010; Committees: Grievance 2005-2011; Membership 2009; Elections 2011; Advisory Board 2009 and 2011. Also, I have kept my MLS membership with Newport Beach Association of Realtors which has enabled me to keep active in Southern California.
