Enjoy a variety of events throughout the year in Crescent City!  Start off the year with the Chamber of Commerce Annual Membership Dinner or celebrate Valentine’s Day at the Portuguese Community Valentine’s Dinner.  Enjoy the exciting challenge of the Chopper Westbrook Steelhead Derby in February in which fishermen from across the country compete for the biggest fish and prizes.  March brings the exciting Crab Festival, as well as exciting events such as the Community Assistance League Charity Silver Ball, the Redwood Wild River Run and the Hank Westbrook Steelhead Derby.  Come out and visit the incredible Youth & Family Fair or purchase unique crafts that the Earth Arts Festival, held annually in April.  Celebrate the California Redwoods Bird & Nature Festival and the beautiful Ruby Van Deventer Wildflower Show in May. 

June offers a number of exciting events, including the Pre-Fair Livestock Show, the Annual Crescent City Motorcycle Poker Run, and the Del Norte H ealth Fair.  Also enjoy Farmer Markets every Wednesday and Saturday from June through October.  In July, Crescent City hosts the Annual Deck Party and Forth of July Celebration, the Jed Smith Mountain Men Festival, the incredible Redwood Coast Art Show, and the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, as well as Gasquet Raft Races and the Harbor Lights Car Show.  Enjoy the Del Norte County Fair, the Annual Lighthouse Quilt Show, and Smith River Days events held throughout the month of August.  In Crescent City, in September, enjoy the Northcoast Redwood Writers Conference, the Jefferson Border Coast Bike Tour, the College of the Redwoods Annual Autumn Art Affair, and the CASA Annual Golf Tournament.

Get into the holiday spirit with exciting events in Crescent City such as the Annual Sea Cruise Classic Car Show and St. Joseph Oktoberfest held in October.  November in Crescent City offers the 4-H Soup Supper Auction, the Veterans Day Parade, Community Thanksgiving Dinner, and the Holiday Light Parade & Tree Lighting.  Enjoy the December Holiday Fair and Miracle on 3^rd Street events to finish off the year.
